Alibaba Cloud's cloud-native community detailed on October 27 the AgentTeams Dashboard, the control plane added as the open-source multi-agent project moved from version 1.2.0 to 1.2.5 after its rename from HiClaw. The dashboard centralises four kinds of resource: human users and their scopes, with audit records for permission changes; agent instances with their runtime, channel, model, tool and skill configuration; team membership split between leaders who coordinate projects and workers who execute; and shared or uploaded skills plus MCP services and model access routes. A two-level board shows projects and tasks with dependencies, status transitions, submitted artifacts and history, and projects can be paused and resumed with the action kept in the timeline. Version 1.2.5 adds a check that blocks a project from being marked complete while any task is not in a terminal state, and notifies workers when a task is reassigned.
Our takeMulti-agent systems usually fail at bookkeeping rather than at reasoning, so a control plane that records who was assigned what and when carries more weight than another orchestration pattern. The completion veto is the interesting part: it turns done into a state the system can verify instead of one an agent can assert. The open question is whether the recorded events are rich enough to replay a failed run, which is what would make the trail useful for debugging rather than only for display.
