SenseTime released SenseNova 6.8 Flash on 2 November, according to its official newsroom. The post frames the model around long-running tasks rather than single answers. Two mechanisms are described: long-term memory across sessions, and proactive interaction, in which a change in stored information triggers the model to identify affected items and propose adjustments. The worked examples are an enterprise AI product that later added the private-deployment capability a customer had asked for, and a staff handover where the model assembles a predecessor's customer context from authorised work history. On output, the model is said to produce static pages, SVG with animation, Three.js and Blender scenes, and PPTX files; the post describes treating narrative pacing, transition type, element order and chart growth as one generation target, and a multi-round generate-observe-feedback loop that returns an editable Blender project. Figma is named as an integration point. SenseTime also says it open-sourced SenseNova Loop-9B-Preview, a 9B Looped Transformer preview. The post states the model beats "some international frontier models" on agent collaboration, data analysis and presentation generation, without publishing scores or an evaluation method.
Our takeThe design claim worth checking is that the memory loop is proactive: the model initiates when a stored constraint changes state. That is a triggering problem, not a retrieval problem — deciding when to speak, not what to fetch. The benchmark sentence is a vendor claim carrying no scores or method, so it cannot be compared with anything. So what: the number that matters for this design is the false-alarm rate of proactive prompts, because an assistant that interrupts on stale matches costs more attention than one that stays quiet.
